The transition to anything not blue... Haha!! @crimpsonshade_36 You hair holds color like nothing I've seen before. The after photo (last photo) was a 3 or 4 months of fade (not really 🤣) Loving this transition though, and always excited for the next!! 🥰

After years of applying a root formula that lifted and exposed her natural red pigment, and always having some red hue to fight, I decided that had to go. 😁 I did a heavy paint with 20vol and wrapped sections with foils. Bring on the light!!! We still have some gold I'd like to break through in our next appointment, but what a great start! 🥰 I love a good hair journey and I love how sometimes the hair can reflect other things going on in our lives. THIS stunner OrAnge made with #davines Filled her platinum with #davinesview 8.33 and 8.44 and made the most beautiful marigold!! Color correction time: 3 hours I used 'U' shaped sectioning (that I learned in @_saltsociety 's class in Seattle with @gabbyrosebeauty 🤩 It's a game changer for me!!) I painted low and slow - #davinesprogresslightener and 15vol to start and switched to 20vol about half way , open air processing I meticulously picked out the handful of hairs that were already a level 10 and kept them away from the bleach! I painted and super saturated everything else while being mindful of the blend. I used my finger to blend the bleach on this beautiful head 😌 @malvahouse
YEESSSSS (in a Bob Ross whisper voice 🤣) My girl @emilysheeley came in for her second session today and I was over-the-moon excited pretty much the entire 4 hour session 😂 The first session was getting the perfect ratio of blonde and brown on the ends. The second session I love to bring in #strandlights and #foilyage close to the root to feel overall more blonde without a lot of maintenance. I toned with #pravanaexpresstoners pearl, clear, and violet 😍
Haircutting becomes more of a passion everyday. Compared to coloring, that seemed to come naturally, cutting did not come naturally. Most of my life (doing my hair myself) it was always trial and error. With all this education over the years, and the many years to come, I am excited to watch my cutting skills grow 🤔
Bobs all day 😎 Katie and I are living for this 10 week old color melt! It's faded into her natural seemlessly. We may dramatize this look next visit - darker darks and lighter lights
